The Occasional Home Store
AND IT’S BACK!
Once again, following successful Autumn and Spring Fairs, Occasional Home Store is back in time for Christmas.
In association with interiors brand Plum & Ashby and with the stylish addition of igigi General Store, Occasional Home Store (OHS) will celebrate the holiday season by filling a beautiful waterside venue with the finest vintage traders, pop-up interior stores, independent designer/makers, fresh flowers and a exciting programme of talks and workshops.
With the potential to inspire your Christmas interior, solve your shopping dilemmas and start the season with a great big serving of prosecco and goodwill to all, you get a whole weekend of fun– Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of November.
Now if only I lived closer!
This is a fantastic event (I know I’ve been to one) set up by interior blogger Rebecca Lawson, vintage trader Sally Newman and Beth Smith, former editor of Selvedge magazine, and this one promises to be bigger and better than the others.
On Sunday @malmo_and_moss will be “in conversation” with fellow North Londoner Alex Stedman, aka The Frugality. Alex’s hugely popular fashion-focused blog and her instagram account inspires her 192,000 followers with accessible styling tips and the “behind the scenes” of her home renovation. The more practically minded can sign up for a floral hoop making class, candle making with Join or a Hygge for all Seasons styling workshop.
Fantastic sellers include returning favourites Pea Style, The King and I and Lisa Valentine Home. New vintage stalls include The Shed Tenby and Reclectic Interiors, while those looking for contemporary homeware or beauty will be introduced to Malako Skincare, Fich Ceramics, Woven the Agency and Jord Home – see the OHS website for a full list of exhibitors.
I’m actually really sad that my travel schedule means I cannot attend this event but I highly recommend that you do x
