Testimonial

I first got in touch with Nicola in March 2018, when my small furniture start up was less than 6 months old. With an Instagram account that was still in its infancy and little awareness of my brand in the marketplace, I approached Nicola in the hope that my designs might resonate with her very discerning interior style. With little expectation I was astonished at the swiftness of response I received, offering feedback, a genuine interest in my business and a willingness to help.

Nicola's large and extremely loyal following gives her enormous influence on UK interior thinking, and the very real home and life that she presents on both her Instagram account and blog invokes a genuine trust in her point of view. Being given the opportunity to put one of my pieces into her home has made a huge impact on my brand awareness. Likewise her endorsement has opened my business up to a very supportive community of other small businesses, makers and creatives, as well as a large group of passionate interior enthusiasts.

Above all it is Nicola's warmth, enthusiasm and the authenticity of her style that I have benefited from the most. Nicola simply supports things and people that she believes in, regardless of their scale or where they are in their journey. Our collaboration has been a hugely positive experience and I am so grateful for the unending support that she has provided. HOW YOU CAN WORK WITH ME.

FEATURE ON THE BLOG

IMG_6286.jpg

I started writing my blog in August 2017 aiming to create a source of inspiration- be it styling in my own home, DIY, tips on what makes a home your own, or working with brands big and small to show how products can work in your own space. I also feature design and colour trends and spend time exploring the impact creating the right space for you can have on your emotional wellbeing.

I feature homes that inspire me, and if you’d like to feature you can submit a request here, influencers and bloggers who work in this market and why they got started, and new trends and collections.

I also wanted to create a community of design/interior/creative businesses, a place to go to for advice, to see how others have built businesses, to learn from them. It was a blog with a difference intended to "marry" my day job where I help grow high tech companies with my passion for interiors.

Many creative businesses struggle to get off the ground and therefore the aim of this blog is to share the journeys of successful businesses so that others can see what works too.

You can read these spotlights here and submit a request to feature here.

All of my blog posts feature across my social media channels; Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook.

If you would like me to create a sponsored blog post please get in touch via nicola@thegirlwiththegreensofa.com

My Home has been featured in The Sunday Times Home Magazine, Apartment Therapy, 25 Beautiful Homes Magazine, Casa Vogue, MADE unboxed and others which you can read about here.

FEATURE ON INSTAGRAM

I can create instagram campaigns either on their own or combined with Pinterest or my blog. With 124K followers on Instagram, I have an engaged and interactive audience and regularly support brands through posts on the main instagram grid supported by story reels.

FEATURE ON PINTEREST

I have 5.2 million (30 day) active viewers on Pinterest and impressions of 11 million. Pinterest is becoming increasingly popular as brands recognise that it is one of the best places from which to drive website traffic and also where people go to search for things that matter to them-new hairstyles, weddings or a kitchen renovation. Ignoring Pinterest means you are ignoring the place where people go to make decisions, including buying products or services. You can read more about why I think a combination approach on social media is good here.

My blog and my social media channels drive different outcomes for brands that I work with. Instagram, providing direct interaction with an interiors following that I have built and that is engaged. Pinterest which drives 60% of my blog traffic and where I can create evergreen content that has a significant multi-million reach.

As much as 40% of my blog traffic also comes from search engines, so by utilising all three; Blog, Pinterest, Instagram, I can reach very different audiences.

Get in touch if you would like me to create campaigns on Instagram, Pinterest, Blog or a combination of all three.

I work with brands in a number of ways; styling their products in my home, creating blog content and content for instagram and other social media, showcasing new collections, or creating unique styling for a specific campaign often seasonal.
